On October, 24th, we had a real live meeting in Leusden (at the office of our Member Xcess, thanks to Ernst Peter Tamminga). 21 members showed up from Norway, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
We started with a discussion of internal subjects (Rob took the notes and will publish it soon), before we focused on our main subject of the meeting: a discussion with our guests from DotNetNuke Corp., CEO Navin Nagiah and CTO Shaun Walker about the position and chances for DotNetNuke in Europe, how to exceed user base of both, open source and commercial versions. As this was the first meeting, there were no concrete results, but we'll keep in touch and it looks promising for the future.
On October 26th, during successful OpenForce Europe DotNetNuke conference, dnn-Europe organized an workshop around content localization in DNN 5.5. Several members reported about their experiences and issues and will provide the Internationalization group of the DNN Core Team with suggestions, how to improve the current solution.
